Hi, I’m Elsie and I am 21. Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I talk about horror films, TV shows, writing, motherhood and whatever else is currently taking over my brain.
I’ve always been the type of person who has a hundred different interests fighting for attention at the same time. One day I’ll be obsessing over a horror film, the next I’ll be rewatching a comfort TV show for the fifteenth time, falling down a writing rabbit hole, or convincing myself I absolutely need to start a new creative project.
This blog is basically an extension of that.
Here you’ll find a mixture of horror, television, films, writing, creativity, motherhood, nostalgia and whatever else happens to be occupying space in my brain that week.
I’ve always loved storytelling in all its forms. Whether it’s a beautifully written novel, a television series that leaves me emotionally devastated, or a horror film that keeps me awake at night, I’m fascinated by the stories that stay with us long after we’ve finished them.
Alongside that, I’m a mum, which occasionally means motherhood sneaks into my writing too. Not because this is a parenting blog, but because being a parent has become a huge part of who I am.
More than anything, I wanted this website to feel like a conversation rather than a lecture. A place where I can share recommendations, opinions, stories, memories and thoughts with people who enjoy the same things I do.
So whether you’re here because you love horror, television, writing, nostalgia, or you’re simply curious about whatever nonsense I’ve decided to write about this week, I’m glad you found your way here.
Make yourself at home.
